Hotel De La Treille - Lille

My room had a fantastic view of the square. The location was convenient, just a quick 10-minute walk from the train station and surrounded by excellent restaurants.

The lack of air conditioning was a real miss, especially in warmer weather. Opening the window invited mosquitoes, leaving me with some unwanted bites. The room was fairly small. I also noticed the bathroom lighting was quite poor, less than ideal for getting ready. Cleaning service had its quirks too. While I did get fresh towels, the coffee and cups weren't topped up, and it was like they could use a bit more attention to detail. The Wi-Fi was patchy, frustrating at times. It's decent but has room for improvement.

I was here for 3 nights and ate at outdoor restaurant for dinner. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the train station and a nice Sunday market and cafes. It was just a walking distance from L'imaginaire, where you can have dinner.

It has a relaxed atmosphere, good choice and quality of breakfasts. Very helpful staff and the hotel was well decorated and clean.

This hotel shines with its fantastic location right in the heart of Lille. I loved the stylish decor and the cleanliness of the room. The staff were really nice, showing kindness and providing helpful tips for nearby attractions. Having a beautiful view from the window added a wonderful touch to my stay. I had an issue with the size of the room. It felt cramped and limited my ability to move around comfortably, especially with the shallow wardrobe space sticking into the corridor. The lack of air conditioning, as opening the windows just let in mosquitoes, resulting in a few bites. Breakfast options were decent but not worth the price, as I found it to be quite basic. My stay was enjoyable, but a few tweaks could have made it perfect.

The room was well-kept and tastefully decorated with central heating, an electronic key card, and a TV set.

The staff were extremely helpful and happy. The room was simple but very nice with quiet look over the Cathedral. Rooms overlooking the front view the Square which can be busy. The area around the Hotel was wonderful with bars, cafes, and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but fresh.

I almost considered leaving a good review, but then i remembered the scraping noise from the rooftop view-definitely not what i expected. A kettle would have been more useful than a coffee-maker for my delicate tastes. More importantly, with noisy neighbors, a complimentary room upgrade would have been proper. What a neglectful stay!

I felt that parking could have been easier, although I do recognise that the location of the hotel might make it difficult to improve matters in this respect

The location of this hotel is perfect, although quite noisy at the front, we will stay at the back next time. The staff are great and the breakfast is fab. Definately book next time we go. The pub is right next door and Lille is a great place to visit.

Noisy outside but not really a problem when you are on holiday

The striking view of the cathedral from my room elevated my stay, making every morning feel special.

Bang in the centre of the old town of Leille with a wide range of restaurants and boutiques. 10 minute or so cab ride from Eurostar and walking distance to the excellent Museum with a stunning range of paintings. English speaking reception. Good breakfast arrangements.

Hotel receptionist was very helpful at all times. Location is great, rooms a little small but cleaned every day.

The room was cozy, but the WiFi kept disconnecting constantly.

The room offered a good fan to combat heat and the view from the window provided a decent atmosphere. Location made it easy to explore local bars and restaurants without much hassle.

Some rooms faced noise from the nearby bar. The lack of air conditioning was a problem, and the cleaning service didn't fully address the need for fresh towels or coffee supplies after requests. The bathroom had a dark ambiance, lacking sufficient lighting, and the furniture felt a bit cramped for space, especially with the open wardrobe sticking out into the hallway.

This hotel is ideally positioned for shopping, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again.
